Never heard of this place but it's pretty neat. Great toddler area but older kids might get bored more easily.
Loved the Young Explorers Area! My daughter ran from activity to activity. Each room had a theme. Especially enjoyed the light table. Will be looking forward to exploring the other zones for older children next time.
My just under 2 yr old had a blast! He was running from room to room checking out all of the toys and exhibits. I liked that it had just the right amount of things to do. It wasn't under or overwhelming. Will definitely go back there again.
Brilliant place for toddlers and slightly older kids! There are a fair number of different "exhibits" packed into their modest sized building. Some are pretty much just play areas for younger kids, albeit with an educational bend. The rest are setups where older kids (3 or 4+) get to interact with the exhibit to learn and play.
It's not a terribly large place at all, so it's more about children taking the time to fully explore each different exhibit.
This isn't a huge children's museum, but it is still so awesome!!! My kids love it and I love that I don't have to worry about my kids running off and getting lost because they're always fairly close. I was impressed with the story time and craft on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, and also by the sheer volume of awesome exhibits they have. My kids and I have been to 5 different children's museums in the last year and this one is one of my favorite.
