Words can't describe how much I enjoyed my stay, already booked to return! The hosts are so welcoming! My rustic cabin had a nice indoor/outdoor feel. I enjoyed meeting the other guests as well everyone just had a great vibe. Breakfast was wonderful too! A great start to the day before heading out exploring. Celine is such a sweetie and does a wonderful job as host.
It is"okay" as a curiosity. It seems to have fallen into disrepair. for instance, the garden around the main Stone barn sports a lot of weeds . We didn't stay in a cabin, so I don't know if they are in good shape. A couple was leaving as we arrived and they seemed happy enough after their presumed stay. At any rate, place seems a shadow of itself as depicted in a local paper's story in 1999.
This is a really great place to get away, relax, unplug, and have some private time. The trails are fun and pretty to walk along, with stone sculptures and more than enough moss to justify the mountain name. Everyone we met was friendly and accommodating. The cabins were very comfortable and cute, with lots of little nooks and crannies to explore. I'm definitely looking forward to going again.
Absolutely stunning escape. Who knew places like this even existed!
Great place if you're looking to go on a short hike or camp over night. They usually have lama walks on the weekends
